My water was cloudy for a few hours and non of my fish died. I did keep as much of my original water as I could.

I don't mind if it's made in China or anything, but if there's food coloring or lead or anything in the sand, please let me know, because I don't wanna kill Stewy! May 14, 2012Well now that I am starting to get a handle on this fish keeping thing I want to upgrade from my 20 gal starter kit to a rimless 60 gal tank. I kinda like the look of the sand but what I want to know is what are the downsides if any to having sand over gravel. Or just in general what are the pros and cons of having sand from gravel?
